Todays post is about the fibonacci number and the golden ratio.The fibonacci numbers are a sequence where the first 2 terms are 1.N is generally used to represent the number of a term and F(n) is used to represent the value of term.The variable n is interchangable with any other variable.The ancient greeks created a proportion(2equivalent ratios) which is now used to find the quadratic equation that is used two find the golden ratio.When finding the golden ratio you must solve the proportion which wll then give you a quadratic equation.then you use the quadratic formula and wala!!!!!,YOU HAVE JUST FOUND THE VALUE OF THE GOLDEN RATIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now for some examples:the pinecone is a great example of the fibonacci sequence.It starts out with 1 a the top and then it increases to 2 then to 5,8,13 etc.
The next example is the mona lisa chose the because the golden rectangle was used to perfect her face which mean he used the fibonacci sequence.

In this post you will see how math can be used to solve crime . in the pilot episode of number ,charlie a mathemetition,uses grids,equations and probobility to find the origin of the of the rapist\killer (origin meaning home\work.He uses a map that have a bunch of dots on it.These dots represent the victims of the rapist.He uses numbers and geometry for example in class we took three points and used these dots to construct a triangle.By finding a perpendicular bisector of each side of the triangle we were able to find the circumcenter which gave them a potential area the perp might be found(work or home).Using geometry and charlie's expreties they used a computer to find a murderer

Darynell's tetrahedron

today post is about a magical tetrehedron.It has 4 faces isn't that cool.it is one of 5 special polyhedrons.
This is because of its 4 regular triangle faces.On each of these faces all 4 of the points of concurrency are the same which you can see in my picture below.these points of concurrency are called,centroid,orthocenter,incenter and the circumcenter The faces are also equilateral making it equiangular.In tetrahedron the prefix tetra means 4.In the picture you will be able to see the a smaller version of the tetahedron.The vertex of the smaller tetrahedronon each face is the point of concurrency.The smaller tetrahedron is also known as the inverse of the outer tetrahedron.

This plane you see here is electrochild he's a glider he can fly for miles.Thats why I plan winning farthest flyer in the next airplane contest.All those who dare challenge me prepare to have airplane crushed literally.Today we had many airplane contests and I didn't win any of them,but now im on a mission I will win the farthest flyer .

The first picture is the back of a card.This shows reflecctional symmetry,because if you fold it in half both sides are exactly the same .

The next picture is a sign and it also shows reflectional symmetry for the same reason.If you were to fold it taco style,both sides are congruent.This next picture is a side of a garbage can,but it is also an octagon with rotational symmetry it has eight fold rotational symmetry
