Here is a picture of the astrid I made on the first day of geometry class. I had to use a ruler and graph paper to connect all the lines to form the line of the astrids. It has a reflectional, rotational symmetry, and line of symmetry on the picture.

muting's astrid

this is my Astrid that i drew on June, 28. i color it with different color, but when you look at the shape, it is like a rotational symmetry cause whenever you turn, the shape still look the same. it is also hard to make cause i use the compass and the straightedge to make it.

Jenea's Fruity Daisy Design c;

This is a picture of my "Fruity Daisy Design." I created this picture with a ordinary compass on a peice of binder paper. The picture has reflectional symmetry, rotational symmetry, and line of symmetry. As you may already see in the picture, the daisy has a pattern to it. I colored the daisy with light pink color, and a type of violet color also in a pattern like form.

This is a picture of a astrid that I colored orange. If you split the astrid in half, it will be the same on both sides. If you split the astrid in fours, all of the sides will be the same.

Jenny's Geometric Art

This is a picture of an astrid that I made on June 28, 2007. Unfortunately to make my astrid, I used alot of geometric measures by using a lot of items. It also shows perspective and proportion. They also produce certain opitical effects. This picture also shows the types of symmetry such as reflection symmetry and rotational symmetry. There are only 4 folds on my astrid that could look exactly the same shapes and sizes when being turn around so many times.

My daisy design is a design that makes a daisy in the middle by using a compass. You can see shapes on this design while making a daisy inside the circle, a hexagon, and a star. Also you can find line of symmetry and rotational and reflectional symmetry. However, it had different colors on the leaves of the daisy. the daisy design has 4 line of symmetry.
