alex's goals

the things that i learned/improved on is actually coming to class being on time and trying to do my best even though I did not.
But what i really did take with me is better organization skills.

alex's centeriod

the centeriod of the triangle is the point of intersection of the three mediansthe one that I made is balanced directly in the middle. (picture in progress) so as if you divided the tringle in half length wise it would be equal on both sides .

fibonacci numbers

after two starting numbers , the preceding numbers are the sum of the two last numbers
ex-0,1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55.......etc. These value of terms/ sequences are and can be found in nature.
it is found in the trees, rabbit population,and seashells. or in this case a flower with its many fibonacci sequence.
To divide divide the fib #'s you need to use a calculator for the big #'s.So for the sea shells it is the curves of the shell.
For the rabbits population it start with 1+1=2+1=3+2=5+3=8........etc

geometric art

for my geometric art I am putting in the astrid. It represents the contruction of curves without you know curves and it is cool

alex's numb3rs activity

in the show numb3rs an F.B.I agent has a case on a serial rapest . The agent little bro by accident saw the map and found saw a way to pin point the rapest vlocation using advanced trigonometry. After we finished the show the class made a triangle and found the inpoint,cicumcenter, and centeriod. We randomly put three points on a white peice of paperthe we connected all the dot with line segments and found all the perpendicular bisectors.

alex's tetrahedron

the polyhedra which is a 3-D figure and in this case a tetrahedra a 3-D triangle with another equilateral triangle inside of it.
the scalene triangle has the orthocenter,centeriod,incenter,and circumcenter all at one point

the green cube shows 12 lines of symmetry
and the circle graph shows an infinite symmetry
